rachel hickson, prophetic voice conference, liberty church, rotherhamRachel has been married to Gordon for over 30 years and they have two grown children who are both married and four grandchildren.

At the age of 24 Rachel, with her husband Gordon, worked alongside Reinhard Bonnke and the Christ for All Nations team in Africa. In 1984 while in Zimbabwe she almost lost her life in a horrific car accident, but was miraculously healed by God. In 1990, Rachel and her husband, Gordon, returned to the UK, and pastored a group of four churches in the Watford area and during this time ‘Heartcry Ministries’ was established. Rachel and Gordon then moved to Oxford in May 2005 where Gordon was the Associate Minister at St Aldates Church until Dec 2010. Rachel and Gordon still live in Oxford and love the challenge and history of this student city which has seen great men of God like C.S.Lewis, John Wesley, George Whitfield and others walk its streets.

Rachel travels internationally, ministering in a variety of nations and churches from every denominational background. Where there is a hunger for God Rachel and her team are prepared to go!

helen_azerHelen was born in England but grew up in Egypt where she lived for the first sixteen years of her life. She is half English and half Egyptian.

Helen went to a German school in Cairo so from her early years developed a passion for other nations, cultures and languages. She returned to the UK with her family in 1994 to finish her schooling and went on to study History and German at Christ Church College, Oxford.

Helen enjoys the privilege of touching people’s lives at home and abroad through preaching, teaching and training. She loves connecting with the bigger picture of what God is doing nationally and internationally as she travels with Heartcry and ministers in conferences, retreats and training days.
